My Assessment of the Implications
If my understanding of Revelation 13 is accurate, and my assessment of the implications regarding our current technological trajectory is sound, we will have ample time to see what’s coming. We just have to know what to look for. This is the difference between seeing the leopard as it pounces, or realizing it lurks and altering our path to avoid becoming it’s prey. Obviously we would opt for the latter. This is a rough outline of how I think the impending technological advancements within the Ai and advanced robotics sectors can take shape within the next 10-25, maybe more, maybe less, to bring about the implementation of the mark of the beast.
Humanoid, Ai powered robots will begin to enter the workforce. At least 11 humanoid robots are currently being produced at commercial scale, simply awaiting the proper Ai operating system. Once the desired level of autonomy is reached, several companies are prepared to start moving these bots out in scale. The humanoid robots are said to be cheaper to produce than an automobile. Year after year they will displace the human workforce. Warehouse, manufacturing, and service jobs will likely be among the first to go. If a bot that costs $20k is half as efficient as a human this is still a no-brainer for employers.
At some point universal base income (UBI) will be implemented to mitigate the poverty from tremendous workforce displacement. This will be done in a reactive manner. That is to say: we will be made to wait, to suffer for a time so it feels like a godsend, and is thereby embraced. A period of utopia will likely commence. People will not have to work as often, if at all, and will be provided enough money to support themselves. The cost of goods will also likely decrease, something everyone will embrace. Some will fall victim to vices, as witnessed during Covid lockdowns with the rise in substance abuse related deaths, suicides, domestic violence, violent crime, theft, and the decline in mental health.
As advanced robotics and artificial general intelligence are perfected more jobs will be displaced. Discussions of Ai being used in the medical, legal, and financial sectors is already well underway. This will likely result in job loss. Implementation of advanced robotics and Ai may be aided by another pandemic. In that case we would lean heavily on such technologies to maintain a sense of social and economic normalcy.
As a result UBI will become much more widespread. More will fall victim to sin and vices. More will embrace controversial tech such as brain computer interface chips (BCI). Hedonism will begin to run rampant in certain communities as boredom becomes inevitable. Creative tasks likely have been outsourced to Ai for years at this point. We will begin to see people treating Ai as a god, and embrace of such technologies as a religion. This will make legislation regarding any controversial aspects of their activities very challenging. Please bear in mind that discussion of Ai as a god is ALREADY TAKING PLACE.
Those who receive UBI will eventually be required to get a chip implanted in their hand to receive their stipend. Those who already have a BCI chip will be able to utilize it if they’d like. At this point, depending on how long this takes, there will be at least one generation that can scarcely remember a time without UBI, Ai, and advanced robotics as part of everyday life, much like Gen Z is with regards to internet, social media, and smartphones. The current mass societal and technological change took place over the course of a couple decades. Considering the exponential pace of technological advancement, it’s not difficult to imagine it will take less time for the unmitigable negative results of Ai, advanced robotics, and BCI to come to fruition.
This is how I believe BCI and Ai can eventually result in mass implementation of the mark of the beast, and it could all be avoided if we were to slow down, or be cautious, rather than running in head first. So please be aware that the speed is necessary for the worst case scenario, the mark of the beast, to take place. I would love to be wrong. Time will tell.
